Fraudsters exploit this by presenting users with malicious contracts. <span data-descr=\"Ethereum Improvement Proposal\" class=\"old_tooltip\">ERC<\/span>-7730 introduces a &#8220;what you see is what you sign&#8221; format, allowing applications to provide clear and structured descriptions of blockchain actions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-b65178af940737fd-4276663702625537.webp\" alt=\"Screenshot 2026-05-13 152225\" class=\"wp-image-279927\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/clearsigning.org\/\">Clear Signing<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A special registry of descriptors has been created for the project&#8217;s implementation. The Ethereum Foundation will act as a neutral operator of this infrastructure, while independent experts will verify the accuracy of descriptions through an attestation system.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The standard&#8217;s development involved Ledger, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-metamask\">MetaMask<\/a>, WalletConnect, Fireblocks, Trezor, and other major industry players.
