The model performs better in everyday tasks: image analysis, natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering queries.<\/p>\n<p>In internal evaluations, GPT-5.5 Instant produced 52.5% fewer incorrect answers compared to GPT-5.3 Instant. Users can see which data was used and can update, delete, or disable it.<\/p>\n<p>Personalization updates are gradually appearing for Plus and Pro plan holders in the web version; mobile app support will follow later.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OpenAI&#8217;s Comeback<\/h2>\n<p>OpenAI has significantly strengthened its position in programming\u2014a field where the company traditionally lagged behind competitors. The AI agent for programming gained the ability to use applications on a computer: it can see the screen, click the mouse, and enter text.<\/p>\n<p>An integrated browser was added to the application, where users can leave precise instructions for the assistant directly on the pages.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?23\" data-telegram-post=\"forklogAI\/7014\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>On April 30, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.testingcatalog.com\/openai-updates-codex-and-prepares-remote-control-feature\/\">launched<\/a> the \/goal command\u2014an analogue of the Ralph Loop plugin in Claude Code. This feature allowed Codex to plan and execute multi-step tasks across several sessions.<\/p>\n<p>On May 1, Codex <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.openai.com\/codex\/app\/settings#codex-pets\">introduced<\/a> \u201cpets\u201d\u2014a kind of \u201cTamagotchi\u201d displaying the activity and status of the AI agent.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic&#8217;s situation is different. At the end of March and beginning of April, Claude users began to <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/04\/10\/anthropic-temporarily-banned-openclaws-creator-from-accessing-claude\/\">complain<\/a> about bans\u2014including paid accounts. Reasons included connecting OpenClaw and registering from an unsupported region.<\/p>\n<p>Users also report increased token consumption.
