Macroeconomic Factors<\/h2>\n

The University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index fell<\/a> to a historic low of 49.8 points. Inflation expectations for the year ahead rose from 3.8% to 4.8%, and long-term expectations reached 3.5%, the highest since 2011.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bitfinex noted<\/a> that rising inflation expectations hinder the Fed<\/span> from easing monetary policy. The regulator fears that premature rate cuts could accelerate price growth. The upcoming Fed meeting is expected to maintain the rate<\/a> in the range of 3.5-3.75%.<\/p>\n

ETF Situation and On-chain Data<\/h2>\n

On April 27, the net outflow from US bitcoin ETFs amounted to $263.18 million. This ended a nine-day streak of inflows and added caution among traders ahead of the FOMC<\/span> meeting.<\/p>\n

Glassnode analysts recorded<\/a> a 199% increase in net purchase volume, yet overall trading volumes fell by 13.8%. This suggests that the current surge is occurring with low speculative activity.<\/p>\n

Expert Forecasts<\/h2>\n

QCP Capital considers<\/a> $82,000 a key resistance level. GSR points out<\/a> that the $80,000 mark remains an important psychological barrier, with a large volume of options concentrated around it.<\/p>\n

Analyst Ted Pillows highlighted the negative Coinbase premium and the downward trend of RSI<\/a>. In his view, if the price does not return above $77,500, the risk of a deeper correction will increase.<\/p>\n
