{"id":96307,"date":"2026-04-20T09:49:57","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T06:49:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/?p=96307"},"modified":"2026-04-21T10:22:58","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T07:22:58","slug":"survey-65-of-japanese-institutions-use-bitcoin-for-portfolio-diversification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/survey-65-of-japanese-institutions-use-bitcoin-for-portfolio-diversification\/","title":{"rendered":"Survey: 65% of Japanese Institutions Use Bitcoin for Portfolio Diversification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Japanese financial holding company Nomura and its subsidiary Laser Digital <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nomuraholdings.com\/en\/news\/nr\/nhi20260416.html\">released<\/a> a report on institutional investors&#8217; attitudes towards digital assets in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The survey included 518 professionals: representatives of family offices, sovereign funds, and large organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Key findings:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>31% of respondents have a positive outlook on the market&#8217;s prospects, up from 25% in 2024;<\/li>\n<li>the proportion of skeptics decreased from 23% to 18%;<\/li>\n<li>65% of those surveyed already use cryptocurrencies for portfolio diversification;<\/li>\n<li>most investors plan to allocate 2% to 5% of their capital to digital assets over the next three years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Investors show significant interest in passive income: more than 60% are considering <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">staking<\/a>, mining, lending, and investments in <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-are-rwas-real-world-assets\">RWA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoin<\/a> segment, coins issued by major banks are the most trusted. Investors plan to use them for cross-border transactions and capital management.<\/p>\n<p>The industry&#8217;s development in Japan was aided by regulatory updates at the end of 2025.
