Previously, merchants had to set up separate gateways for each standard to accept transfers from AI agents.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;This is unsustainable, and with the launch of new systems, fragmentation will only increase. AgentPay fixes the situation,&#8221; stated Alchemy&#8217;s <span data-descr=\"Chief Technology Officer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CTO<\/span> Guillaume Poussin.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A merchant registers an existing <span data-descr=\"Application Programming Interface\" class=\"old_tooltip\">API<\/span> on the platform and receives a new <span data-descr=\"a specific 'address' or entry point through which one program can access another via the API\" class=\"old_tooltip\">endpoint<\/span>. The project, often dubbed the &#8220;AWS of the Web3 world,&#8221; provides developers with foundational infrastructure and node services for building blockchain applications.<\/p>\n<p>The concept of autonomous finance relies on micro- and nano-transactions.
