The hashrate reduction of 0.13%, to 375 EH\/s, was due to the shutdown of unprofitable installations and diversification into AI;<\/li>\n<li>Russia strengthened its second position \u2014 16.9% compared to 16.4% previously;<\/li>\n<li>China rounded out the top three, increasing its share from 11.7% to 12%. However, in physical terms, the country&#8217;s hashrate decreased by 1.35%, from 125 EH\/s to 120 EH\/s. Experts linked this to the aftermath of December raids by authorities against miners in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-2d01e3732df314e8-1099788894430020.webp\" alt=\"image\" class=\"wp-image-278073\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: Hashrate Index.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The three countries collectively account for nearly 65% of the global Bitcoin network&#8217;s capacity.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;While this indicates a continued concentration, the ongoing rise of Ethiopia in the top ten and the strengthening positions of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian countries point to gradual diversification,&#8221; analysts emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>They noted that on an annual basis, several jurisdictions demonstrated &#8220;remarkable&#8221; hashrate growth:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kyrgyzstan \u2014 300%;<\/li>\n<li>Laos \u2014 100%;<\/li>\n<li>Finland \u2014 100%;<\/li>\n<li>Paraguay \u2014 54%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hashrate Index explained the success of these countries by the deployment of modern equipment and competitive advantages in energy supply.<\/p>\n<p>Amid regional conflict, Iran lost about 7 EH\/s from 9 EH\/s at the start of the year. However, the war did not affect the figures of neighboring UAE and Oman.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hashrate Index specialists, current changes indicate the formation of a more diversified mining geography.
