The March\u2013April 2025 pullback stalled around $75,000, as did the early\u20112024 rally. The mark also aligns with key Fibonacci retracement levels.<\/p>\n<p>A sustained move above $75,000 would signal a restoration of structural demand for bitcoin and an end to the downtrend that began after the October peak at $126,000, McGlone says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If the digital gold fails to hold or turns lower again, it would remain in a long-term decline with a target of $10,000. He grounds his view in the market\u2019s historical structure: before the Covid\u201119 pandemic, the price of the first cryptocurrency consolidated around that level for a long time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The subsequent record influx of liquidity became one of the main drivers of the digital gold\u2019s rise.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cBefore the biggest money injection in history in 2020\u20132021, bitcoin oscillated around $10,000, and a return to that level may occur. Around $10,000 is also the first-born crypto\u2019s most traded price since 2017, when futures were launched,\u201d the expert noted.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In his view, another drag on the asset could be the \u201cexplosive growth of the crypto market.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 bitcoin was the sector\u2019s undisputed leader. Since then, however, millions of new tokens have appeared, competing for investors\u2019 attention and diverting capital from the flagship. He called this glut of supply a structural headwind.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cmost durable trend\u201d in the industry now is <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoins<\/a>, McGlone said. According to him, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-tether-usdt\">Tether<\/a> will surpass Ethereum as early as 2026 and, over time, bitcoin as well.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Short-term market dynamics<\/h2>\n<p>Over the past 24 hours, bitcoin has risen by more than 3%. On April 5 he <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/116351998782539414\">threatened<\/a> that Iran would \u201clive in hell\u201d if it did not open the Strait of Hormuz.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the head of state gave Tehran ten days to resume shipping.
