All trades are executed directly within the app through the integrated <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-are-custodial-and-non-custodial-crypto-wallets\">custodial crypto wallet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum leverage is 50x. The infrastructure for the direct integration of Lighter&#8217;s decentralized order book into Telegram was developed by The Open Platform (TOP), the creators of Wallet.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carving a Niche<\/h2>\n<p>The project does not intend to compete with specialized exchanges for experienced traders. Its main goal is to attract a mass audience unfamiliar with the derivatives market. The integrated wallet already boasts tens of millions of users, many of whom joined through the ecosystem of mini-apps and incentive programs.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cTrading perpetual contracts traditionally required complex interfaces and specialized platforms. Direct integration into Wallet simplifies access and lowers the entry barrier for users who already store and transfer cryptocurrency in Telegram,\u201d said TOP CEO Andrey Rogozov.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The new functionality is unavailable to residents of the United States and the United Kingdom. The project team has focused on developing countries where access to traditional brokerage infrastructure is limited.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Growth of the Perpetuals Segment<\/h2>\n<p>Perpetual futures, or <span data-descr=\"from Perpetual Futures or Perpetuals\" class=\"old_tooltip\">\u201cperps\u201d<\/span>, allow speculation on price movements without an expiration date. In November, the startup <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2025\/11\/11\/lighter-fundraise-founders-fund-ribbit-capital-haun-ventures-robinhood-vladimir-novakovski\/\">raised $68 million<\/a> at a valuation of $1.5 billion.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hyperliquid&#8217;s Expansion: Competing with CEX and TradFi<\/h2>\n<p><span data-descr=\"centralized exchanges\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CEX<\/span> remain a central element of the crypto industry, processing over $3 trillion in perpetual futures trades monthly.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, the leading perp-DEX is steadily eroding this dominance. In early April, Hyperliquid&#8217;s share of total perp trading volume exceeded 7% (up from 3.5% a year earlier). This indicates effective market expansion rather than a temporary spike alongside a general trend.<\/p>\n<p>A significant growth factor is also the platform&#8217;s entry into the non-crypto asset market.
