It funds government agencies through 30 January 2026 and allows an immediate restart of federal departments, including <span data-descr=\"US Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span> and <span data-descr=\"US Commodity Futures Trading Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CFTC<\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>Attention now turns to faster reviews of spot altcoin-<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-cryptocurrency-etf\">ETF<\/a> applications and the passage of crypto bills, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/donald-trump-enacts-stablecoin-legislation\">GENIUS Act<\/a>. Official economic data, to which the digital-asset market is especially sensitive, will also resume.<\/p>\n<p>During the shutdown, more than 700,000 employees were furloughed without pay, and some were laid off.<\/p>\n<p>The crisis stemmed from a stand-off between Republicans and Democrats. The latter criticised the package and refused to support it because it lacked health-insurance subsidies. The enacted law does not include them, but the issue is promised to be put to a Senate vote in December.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said he is ready to work with Democrats on contentious issues, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/politics\/live-news\/government-shutdown-house-end-flights-11-12-25\">CNN<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Analysts at The Kobeissi Letter noted that over the 43 days of the shutdown, US national debt rose by $619 billion.
