Fundamental indicators suggest continued growth, according to the creator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-stock-to-flow-model-and-why-is-it-criticised\">S2F<\/a> model and analyst PlanB.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bears think $126k was the top, and btc will fall below $100k, and 2026 will be a bear market mainly because \u2026 the 4 year cycle!?<\/p>\n<p>IMO that is a BIG misunderstanding. [\u2026] In my opinion, this is a serious misunderstanding,&#8221; he wrote.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Four-Year Cycles Are No Longer Reliable<\/h2>\n<p>According to the expert, the three previous cycles are an insufficient sample to establish a reliable pattern. The traditional model suggests the peak of the leading cryptocurrency should occur in October \u2014 18 months after the last <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-bitcoin-halving\">halving<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, PlanB allowed for the possibility that bitcoin might form a peak later. The analyst noted the absence of key signals typical of the final phase of a bull market: RSI has not exceeded 80, and the realised price has not deviated from the 200-week moving average.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;This means one of two things: either a significant surge is still ahead, or we have already transitioned into a price stability mode defined by institutional investors, funds, and rebalancing mechanisms,&#8221; he explained.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The expert described both scenarios as bullish for bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2024, PlanB <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/planb-envisions-bitcoin-reaching-70000-in-october-and-1-million-by-2025\">forecasted<\/a> the leading cryptocurrency would rise to $1 million in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Analyst Willy Woo also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/woonomic\/status\/1980285024508510564\">highlighted<\/a> structural differences between cycles. In the previous bull phase, liquidity came from &#8220;paper&#8221; derivative markets, whereas now it is declining.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Paper assets are a short-term tool: investors enter but do not stay long. In the current cycle, a different picture is emerging. The paper segment is already beginning to contract, while long-term spot liquidity remains stable,&#8221; the expert noted.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/woonomic\/status\/1980285028082049282\">warned<\/a> that the situation could change.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, in January, PlanB <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/planb-shifts-bitcoin-holdings-to-etfs-for-convenience\">shifted<\/a> capital from bitcoin savings to spot <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-cryptocurrency-etf\">ETFs<\/a> based on digital gold.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/monetary-policy-has-broken-bitcoins-historical-cycles-says-arthur-hayes\">stated<\/a> that the four-year cycle of the crypto market is no longer relevant.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts at K33 and several other experts, including CryptoQuant CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/cryptoquant-ceo-acknowledges-bitcoin-cycle-theorys-obsolescence\">Ki Young Ju<\/a> and Bitwise&#8217;s Chief Investment Officer <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-cio-declares-bitcoin-cycles-obsolete\">Matt Hougan<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/k33-analysts-declare-the-end-of-bitcoins-four-year-cycle\">share this view<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bitcoin&#8217;s drop below $108,000 does not mark the end of the bull market.
