This is nearly 50% less than July&#8217;s figure ($63 billion) and significantly below the peaks of March ($78 billion) and December 2024 ($99 billion).<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Signs of Continued Growth<\/h2>\n<p>The low level of realized profits suggests that market participants prefer to hold the asset rather than sell it. Analysts believe this indicates a potential continuation of the rally with no signs of a cycle peak.<\/p>\n<p>Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, noted that on an annual basis, the net figure is still rising. Historically, this has been associated with upward price momentum.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAs long as there is positive momentum in realized profits, prices may trend upwards. In the past, bull markets ended when holders began selling at lower levels,\u201d he explained.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The decline in the metric indicates that new buyers are quickly selling coins, incurring losses that exceed the profits of early investors.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Holder Behavior<\/h2>\n<p>Short-term holders recently recorded a 2% profit\u2014significantly lower than the typical 8% seen at market peaks. The figure for long-term investors stands at around 129%, with extreme values reaching 300%.<\/p>\n<p>Activity from OG addresses, which have held Bitcoin for over ten years, also remains low.
