Unknown thieves stole an NFT Christmas tree worth 3 million rubles, created by Russian artist Nikas Safronov. The Mash Telegram channel reports.<\/p>\n

The token surfaced on an external classifieds site. For 8 million rubles, sellers are offering the original digitised graffiti of the tree, the 3D model of the painting, and a New Year\u2019s card signed by the artist.<\/p>\n

The artist’s team decided not to report to the police for now and began an internal investigation.<\/p>\n

The NFT tree was conceived as a \u0431\u043b\u0430\u0433\u043e\u0442\u0432\u043e\u0440\u0438\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0435\u043a\u0442<\/a>. Two years ago, 250 artists contributed to its creation, decorating the tree with their ornaments. The proceeds from the sale were to be directed to the development of young talents.
