Such a forecast was provided by Matrixport experts.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s specialists drew a parallel with the launch of CME Group&#8217;s cash-settled Bitcoin futures in 2017. Then the exchange announced the derivatives at the end of October, and trading began in early December. During the holidays, the frequency of ads will rise, drawing investor attention to the asset, experts say.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the cryptocurrency is trading around $43,600 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/\">CoinGecko<\/a>). The day before the asset tested the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-tests-the-44000-level\">$44 000<\/a> level.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Matrixport noted a period of Bitcoin consolidation from December 8. However, by the end of the month, the company&#8217;s analysts expect a pickup in price growth.<\/p>\n<p>Industry experts <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/analyst-sec-set-to-broadly-approve-bitcoin-etf-filings-in-january\">expect approval<\/a> of spot Bitcoin ETF filings around January 8-10, 2024.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">FOX: Sources close to these firms say recent guidance from SEC officials is that a green light will likely come by Jan. 10, 2024. According to Fox Business, the Commission&#8217;s main requirement is that fund shares be redeemed exclusively for cash \u2014 they cannot be exchanged for securities of other investment products or other assets. Supposedly this would pose a barrier to money laundering.<\/p>\n<p>There are 13 applications under review by the regulator, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-takes-up-review-of-spot-bitcoin-etf-applications\">including<\/a> from BlackRock, VanEck, Invesco, Fidelity Investments and WisdomTree. Some companies have <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/blackrock-and-bitwise-amend-filings-to-launch-bitcoin-etfs\">already made changes<\/a> to the documentation.<\/p>\n<p>According to Fox Business, applicants are &#8220;optimistic&#8221; about the regulator&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outlook for 2024<\/h2>\n<p>Matrixport experts <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realMatrixport\/status\/1737324544824852987\">express confidence<\/a> that Bitcoin will continue to rise in the coming year. Among the factors supporting this (in addition to the launch of spot-based ETFs) they cited the expected in April <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/analysts-see-bitcoin-at-160000-after-etf-launch\">halving<\/a> and an improvement in U.S. macroeconomic indicators. Historically, the price of digital gold reached a new high 6-8 months after the block reward halving.<\/p>\n<p>Several experts, including <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/messari-flags-signs-of-a-continued-bitcoin-rally\">Messari CEO Ryan Selkis<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/analysts-see-bitcoin-at-160000-after-etf-launch\">CryptoQuant specialists<\/a>, agree with the positive impact of these driving forces on Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Some even set a target of $160,000 per coin. They also expect that after the approval of Bitcoin ETFs, the price of the first cryptocurrency will exceed $50,000.<\/p>\n<p>In a bolder forecast, JAN3 CEO Samson Mow predicted the asset could rise to <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/opinion-bitcoin-etf-approval-could-push-the-asset-to-1-million\">$1 million<\/a> per coin within days or weeks after spot Bitcoin ETFs appear.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital Anthony Pompliano <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/anthony-pompliano-sec-etf-approval-wont-double-bitcoin-price-overnight\">agrees<\/a> with the ultra-bullish impulse from such products entering the market, but warned that rapid Bitcoin price growth should not be expected.<\/p>\n<p>Industry veteran and Blockstream CEO Adam Back <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/adam-back-forecasts-bitcoin-to-hit-100000-in-coming-months\">is confident<\/a> that the $100,000 level will be breached even before the halving.<\/p>\n<p>Former BitMEX co-founder and former CEO Arthur Hayes also believes that the appearance of spot Bitcoin ETFs will lift the price of the cryptocurrency, but <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/arthur-hayes-sees-threat-in-institutional-interest-in-bitcoin\">is not convinced<\/a> about the benefits of these products for the cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If the SEC approves spot Bitcoin ETFs in early January, the price of Bitcoin by the end of the month will rise to $50,000.
