The calculations were made by SlashNext analysts, as reported by <a href=\\\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/203564\/since-chatgpt-launch-phishing-emails-are-up-1265-slashnext\\\">Decrypt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;From our research we know that threat actors use tools like ChatGPT to write sophisticated, targeted, compromising business emails and other phishing messages,&#8221;<\/em> said Patrick Harr, CEO of the firm.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The expert said potential victims must &#8220;go on the offensive&#8221; and &#8220;fight AI with AI.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Companies should embed artificial intelligence directly into security programmes for continual monitoring of all messaging channels to eliminate threats. We use the technology in toolkits for detection [\u2026] and forecasting,&#8221;<\/em> the expert explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Harr is optimistic about AI&#8217;s ability to catch rogue AI.
