The report was written by <a href=\"https:\/\/iz.ru\/1569040\/2023-09-05\/ushcherb-ot-kriptovaliutnykh-piramid-za-shest-mesiatcev-sostavil-bolee-50-mln\">\u00ab\u0418\u0437\u0432\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0438\u044f\u00bb<\/a>, citing a study by the SHARD service.<\/p>\n<p>According to analysts, the number of Ponzi schemes that attract funds in cryptocurrencies is growing steadily. While in 2022 their share stood at 58%, by the first half of 2023 this figure exceeded 70%.<\/p>\n<p>Experts cited calculations from the Bank of Russia, according to which more than 2,800 different pyramids are operating in Russia in total.<\/p>\n<p>SHARD noted that, on average, fraudulent projects operate two to four months, after which they disappear with investors&#8217; money.
