In the same month, the official bridge between TON and Ethereum supported transfers of all ERC-20 tokens.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the developers <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ton-developers-unveil-feature-for-exchanging-encrypted-messages\">integrated<\/a> message encryption into the TON network. This ensures that only the sender and recipient can see the encrypted information.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the TON Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ton-foundation-proposes-burning-50-of-validator-rewards\">proposed<\/a> to burn 50% of validator rewards. The proposal is analogous to <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/in-2022-the-ethereum-network-burned-around-1-8-million-eth\">Ethereum&#8217;s<\/a> EIP-1559 strategy, which led to a reduction in network inflation.<\/p>\n<p>In July, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/pavel-durov-reveals-holdings-of-bitcoin-and-toncoin\">admitted<\/a> that he holds some amount of Bitcoin and &#8216;a little&#8217; Toncoin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toncoin (TON) traded near the $2 level but failed to clear the psychological barrier.
