By coin count, the address ranks third after the wallets belonging to Binance and Bitfinex, which have amassed $6.4 billion and $4.3 billion in Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the platform told CoinDesk that asset custody on behalf of the company is provided by market maker Jump Trading.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arkham traced the ownership to Robinhood after the transfer of 118,300 BTC from other addresses over a three-month period. The first transactions were made on March 8, after which, up to July 14, subsequent transfers followed for larger amounts, according to BitInfoCharts.<\/p>\n

The wallet has drawn market attention in recent months, fueling various speculation about the identity of its owners. In the community, the address was linked to BlackRock and to Gemini.<\/p>\n
