This cannot simply be made up,&#8221; wrote the protocol developer under the nickname Leonidas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the past week the share of transactions involving Bitcoin-NFTs stood at 54%.<\/p>\n<p>In total, since the protocol&#8217;s inception, about 25.6 million inscriptions have been created, which brought in 1149 BTC ($29.9 million at the time of writing) in fees.<\/p>\n<p>Today, BRC-20 tokens predominate within Ordinals \u2014 last week 1.9 million were issued.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/12313a3124.webp\" alt=\"12313a3124\" class=\"wp-image-214006\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ordinals issuance by type. Data: Dune.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Earlier, DappRadar <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-nft-trading-metrics-fall-92-over-the-summer\">reported<\/a> that trading volume of Bitcoin inscriptions fell from $452 million in May to $3 million by mid-August.
