Its core product\u2014the World ID protocol\u2014is based on <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-zero-knowledge-proof\">zero-knowledge proofs<\/a>. It is a mobile tool enabling people to identify themselves by iris scan or a phone number.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier Worldcoin faced investigations by regulators in the United Kingdom, Germany and France.
