This was <a href=\"https:\/\/esbu.gov.ua\/news\/biudzhet-vtratyv-3-mlrd-hrn-podatkiv-vid-diialnosti-kryptobirzh\">stated<\/a> by specialists of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES).<\/p>\n<p>From 2013 to 2023, the cumulative trading volume on these platforms across only three virtual assets (BTC, ETH, USDT) exceeded $55 billion.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cTrading commissions are charged on transactions, which each exchange sets independently. Typically, this is 0.1\u20131.5% of the transaction amount. The average trading commission is 0.8% of turnover, which over ten years amounted to roughly $445.5 million,\u201d the BES explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Due to the absence of a regulatory framework, cryptocurrency exchanges do not yet pay taxes in Ukraine. In early June <span data-descr=\"National Securities and Stock Market Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">\u041d\u041a\u0426\u0411\u0424\u0420<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ukraine-presents-bill-to-tax-bitcoin-operations\">presented<\/a> a sector-specific bill.
