JPMorgan analysts say so, <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/239775\/jpmorgan-ripple-xrp-coinbase\\\">The Block<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\"><p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>\\&#8221;At first glance, this decision seems to be a win for Coinbase in its lawsuit with the <span data-descr=\\\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">SEC<\/span>. We believe the exchange is in a better position to profit from heightened trust and regulatory clarity, given its market leadership and industry reputation,\\&#8221; said the bank&#8217;s analysts led by Kenneth Worthington.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Ripple <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/partial-victory-details-and-implications-of-the-secs-ripple-case\">secured a &#8216;partial victory&#8217;<\/a> in its dispute with the regulator. The court ruled that XRP is not a security when sold on the secondary market. However, the ruling does not apply to the offering of the coin to institutional investors.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>JPMorgan analysts suggested that a favorable ruling regarding Ripple&#8217;s coin could be applied to 13 tokens listed on Coinbase. The SEC <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-files-suit-against-coinbase-exchange\">brought claims<\/a> against them, deeming the listing of assets on the platform an unregistered securities offering.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Analysts said that if the Ripple ruling stands, the regulator would have difficulty proving the correctness of its coin classifications.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The JPMorgan specialists noted that part of the SEC&#8217;s charges concerns some Coinbase products such as <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">staking<\/a> services and wallets. Moreover, the SEC may appeal the Ripple case ruling, they noted.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Analysts described the court verdict as broadly positive for the US crypto industry and expressed optimism about the sector&#8217;s prospects.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-and-binance-announce-xrp-relisting\">announced the relisting<\/a> of XRP.
