The Fox network announced the premiere date of the animated series ‘Krapopolis’ from Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon, using blockchain technology for promotion \u2014 September 24, 2023.<\/p>\n

The project was first announced<\/a> in May 2021 amid a boom in NFT<\/a>. The animated series will mark Fox’s entry into the segment. To that end, the network created the business unit Blockchain Creative Labs.<\/p>\n

\\n\\n<\/p>\n

The plot of \u201cKrapopolis\u201d follows a family of humans, gods and monsters in mythical Ancient Greece as they strive to govern one of the world’s earliest cities.<\/p>\n

In August 2022, the show’s creators launched the NFT collection Krapopolis Krap Chickens. According to OpenSea<\/a>, at the time of writing its trading volume reached 513 ETH (about $968,000).<\/p>\n

\\n\\n<\/p>\n

NFT royalties fell<\/a> to a two-year low \u2014 nearly 1,000 ETH (~$190,000), according to Nansen.<\/p>\n
