The matter is disclosed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microstrategy.com\/content\/dam\/website-assets\/collateral\/financial-documents\/financial-document-archive\/form-8-k_7-7-2023.pdf\">\u043e\u0442\u0447\u0435\u0442\u0435<\/a> filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Adkisson will remain with the firm in an advisory capacity for an indefinite period. His duties have been performed by the current CEO Fong Le since July 5.<\/p>\n<p>MicroStrategy first shifted part of its reserves into digital gold in August 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2023, the software analytics provider <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-buys-12333-btc-for-347-million\">acquired<\/a> 12,333 BTC for $347 million. At the time of writing, the company owns 152,333 BTC.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, MicroStrategy&#8217;s profit for the first quarter of 2023 <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-posts-461-2-million-q1-profit\">was<\/a> $461.2 million. In the wake of Bitcoin ETF news, the company&#8217;s shares on July 3 <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-related-stocks-rally-on-etf-news\">showed<\/a> strong growth.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/binance-chief-comments-on-top-executives-departure-amid-doj-investigation\">departure<\/a> of Patrick Hillmann, Binance&#8217;s Chief Strategy Officer, was reported.
