We believe the jurisdiction will be an excellent driver of the next wave of crypto growth for Gemini,\\&#8221; the blog said.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The exchange is already <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/gemini-unveils-plans-to-open-an-office-in-india\">in the process of opening an office<\/a> in Gurgaon (India). According to platform representatives, the company is recruiting staff for Gemini&#8217;s second-largest engineering center after the United States.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In March it emerged that the bitcoin exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/gemini-to-launch-international-derivatives-trading-platform-reports-say\">plans to launch<\/a> a crypto-derivatives platform aimed at the international market. According to media reports, Gemini allegedly will register the new service outside the United States.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The exchange&#8217;s drive to expand could be linked to pressure from US regulators. In June 2022, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/cftc-sues-gemini-the-winklevoss-twins-cryptocurrency-exchange\">filed a lawsuit<\/a> against Gemini. The documents alleged that the platform misled the agency regarding bitcoin futures contracts.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In early 2023, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission also <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-accuses-gemini-of-selling-unregistered-securities\">accused<\/a> the company of unregistered trading of securities through the Earn service.
