This follows from <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.deb.188450\/gov.uscourts.deb.188450.1562.0.pdf\"> \u043c\u0430\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0438\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0432 \u0434\u043b\u044f \u0441\u0443\u0434\u0430<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The museum received from the FTX-affiliated firm West Realm Shires Services the sum in two installments: $300,000 in March 2022 and $250,000 two months later.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was carried out as part of efforts to recover donations from politicians as well as various organisations. According to court documents, the figure may amount to <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-seeks-return-of-donations-from-u-s-politicians\">$93 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/unusualwhales.com\/politics\/article\/senate_ftx\"> Unusual Whales<\/a>, to date funds have been returned or a pledge to do so has been announced for only 19 of the 180 recipients of donations from the exchange&#8217;s politicians.<\/p>\n<p>On November 11, 2022, FTX Group <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-group-files-for-bankruptcy-sam-bankman-fried-resigns-as-ceo\">filed for bankruptcy<\/a> under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.<\/p>\n<p>US prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sam-bankman-fried-accused-of-bribing-a-chinese-official\">indicted<\/a> former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried on 13 criminal charges, including offering a bribe of at least $40 million to at least one Chinese official.
