The infrastructure was incredibly immature, and people did not think about it,\\&#8221;<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dispersion Capital focuses on backing startups targeting specific layers of Web3, including fintech and gaming infrastructure, security, data and platforms that challenge legacy industries.<\/p>\n<p>As reported, in January\u2013March 2023 the volume of venture investments in crypto firms across 353 funding rounds<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/venture-capitalists-invested-2-6-billion-in-crypto-startups-in-q1\"> amounted to $2.6 billion<\/a> \u2014 the lowest since Q4 2020, according to PitchBook.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the organisation&#8217;s analyst Robert Le attributed the decline in venture activity to <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/fed-raises-key-rate-bitcoin-holds-above-28500\">rising interest rates<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/us-rescue-saves-svb-and-signature-bank-depositors-stablecoins-narrow-the-depegging\">the collapse of <span data-descr=\\\"Silicon Valley Bank\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">SVB<\/span><\/a> \u2014 the backbone bank for such companies.
