Free cash and cash equivalents were estimated at $124.9 million. Marathon\u2019s revenue for January\u2013March was $51.1 million, with adjusted EBITDA \u2014 $18.6 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAfter resilience tests across the industry, last year, 2023 began on a strong note \u2014 we increased the hash rate, reduced costs and improved the balance,\u201d<\/em> \u2014 said Marathon CEO Fred Thiel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier in May, the top executive<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/marathon-digital-ceo-crypto-winter-weeded-out-unsavory-operators\"> stated<\/a> that the crypto winter had rid the market of dubious operators.<\/p>\n<p>It was also disclosed that Marathon Digital<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/marathon-digital-receives-renewed-subpoena-from-the-sec\"> received a subpoena<\/a> from the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span> in connection with an investigation at one of the company\u2019s facilities.
