SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/230151\/hester-peirce-sec-crypto-regulation-mica-model\">The Block<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We are shooting ourselves in the foot because of the lack of a good regulatory regime in the United States.
