At present Etherscan has <a href=\"https:\/\/etherscan.io\/address\/0xCc16D5E53C1890B2802d5441d23639CAc6cd646F\">tagged<\/a> it as phishing.<\/p>\n<p>In a briefing with the publication, the exchange confirmed ownership of the wallet. However, KuCoin\u2019s chief executive Johnny Lyu said the platform would not block the user until it receives a formal directive from authorities.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWhen the reporting party provides legal documents, we will assist and cooperate with law enforcement authorities to take measures to control risks in accordance with our user agreement and the laws of the Seychelles,\u201d Lyu explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The company stressed that if members of the community encounter any suspicious activity, they should report it to the police and provide evidence to the exchange team.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, an unknown <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/hacker-hacks-kucoins-twitter-account\">hacked the KuCoin Twitter account<\/a>, which led to a loss of $22,628 among users.
