Transferring funds to Ethereum may take 30\u201360 minutes, unless the network is experiencing abnormal conditions, the team noted.<\/p>\n<p>The cross-chain bridge supports most popular assets, including <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-are-erc-20-tokens\">ERC-20<\/a> and ERC-777 tokens.<\/p>\n<p>After initiating a transaction through Polygon Bridge, the bridged token will be automatically mapped. In other solutions, this process involves a similar manual step before the transfer itself, potentially taking hours or even days.<\/p>\n<p>Teams from Lens, Balancer, ANKR, Alchemy, Sequence, The Graph, as well as Midnight Society and Oath of Peak are already working on integrating the cross-chain bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the startup Recursive<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/omni-network-unveils-ethereum-interoperability-protocol\"> launched<\/a> the Omni Network infrastructure for interacting with Ethereum-layer<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\"> second-layer<\/a> networks such as Optimism, Arbitrum, zkSync Era or StarkNet built on ZK-Rollups.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, developers of the omni-chain protocol LayerZero <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/layerzero-announces-integration-with-polygon-zkevm\">announced<\/a> integration with Polygon zkEVM.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/vitalik-buterin-assesses-zkevms-impact-on-decentralisation-and-security\">called<\/a> the integration of zkEVM into the L1 blockchain as necessary and inevitable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Polygon Labs has launched a cross-chain bridge that connects the Polygon and zkEVM blockchains.
