However, the popularity of this path has led to fragmentation in the blockchain space due to the emergence of a multitude of zkEVM protocols.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abOmni is the unifying layer for all rollups. It will serve as the foundational infrastructure supporting all modular applications on Ethereum\u00bb, said King.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/eigenlayer-team-launches-testnet-after-raising-50-million\">EigenLayer restaking protocol<\/a>, the team promises to provide interoperability between different rollups with Layer-1 blockchain security.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, in addition to functional compatibility of Ethereum applications across different L2 networks, Omni Network will offer developers the advantage of liquidity aggregation.<\/p>\n<p>The project has raised $18 million to develop the interoperability protocol.
