Data: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/BitLenta\/14493\">\u0411\u0438\u0442\u041b\u0435\u043d\u0442\u0430<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Binance spokesperson told ForkLog that all current restrictions related to sanctions against Russian citizens are applied by the platform and its legal entities in the European Union in full.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abIn accordance with sanctions rules, Binance, registered as a legal entity in the EU, is prohibited from providing services to citizens of the Russian Federation, with the exception of those who are citizens\/residents of the EEA or Switzerland. Users from Crimea, the DNR\/LNR are also barred from accessing the platform\u00bb, \u2014 he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A Binance spokesperson added that the platform does not provide services to &#8220;people, organisations, legal entities and countries that have been blacklisted by the international community&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Binance did not confirm or deny the authenticity of the published screenshots.<\/p>\n<p>The deposit limits were introduced with the EU&#8217;s fifth sanctions package in April 2022. At that time, companies <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/eu-bans-cryptocurrency-services-for-russian-and-belarusian-citizens\">forbade providing crypto-related services<\/a> to residents of the Russian Federation whose deposits exceed \u20ac10 000.<\/p>\n<p>In October of the same year, the European Parliament imposed <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/eu-fully-bans-cryptocurrency-services-for-russians\">a full ban on servicing<\/a> their cryptocurrency wallets within the eurozone.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, in March 2023, Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/binance-bans-russians-from-p2p-operations-in-dollars-and-euros\">banned Russians from P2P operations<\/a> in dollars and euros.
