The forecast came in an interview with TD Ameritrade Network from Ark Invest analyst Yassine Elmandjra.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">As the digital economy starts to become the focal point of the entire economy, it\u2019s not unreasonable to think <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/bitcoin?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#bitcoin<\/a> could exceed $1 million in the next decade, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/yassineARK?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@yassineARK<\/a> tells <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NPetallides?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NPetallides<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 TD Ameritrade Network (@TDANetwork) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TDANetwork\/status\/1646546599504486406?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 13, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The expert highlighted Bitcoin&#8217;s impressive performance in the previous decade. In his view, this makes digital gold an attractive component of investment portfolios.<\/p>\n<p>According to the analyst, a sensible share of Bitcoin for institutional investors should range from 2.5% to 6.5%, depending on overall portfolio returns and risk tolerance. Such a distribution could lift the asset to the stated price.<\/p>\n<p>According to Elmandjra, the notion that it&#8217;s now too late to invest in the first cryptocurrency is misguided. He pointed to digital gold&#8217;s demonstrated resilience in periods of market volatility and its appeal as a store of value.<\/p>\n<p>The analyst acknowledged that a 30-fold price rise forecast may sound extraordinary, but it is &#8220;quite reasonable&#8221; when looking at the history of cryptocurrency development.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;If you look at where Bitcoin started (a digital collectible asset without market value), I do not consider it unreasonable that over the next decade the digital economy will be the core of all economic activity,&#8221; said Elmandjra.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On April 11, the price of the cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-price-breaks-through-30-000\">breached the $30,000 level<\/a>. At the time of writing the asset was trading around $30,725 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/\">CoinGecko<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>According to a survey, major players in the industry remain bullish and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/cnbc-major-players-forecast-bitcoin-to-reach-100000\">forecast a rise to $100,000<\/a>. Bank of America analysts also <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bank-of-america-analysts-see-bitcoin-rally-continuing\">forecast the continuation of the rally<\/a> in digital gold.<\/p>\n<p>In January, Ark Invest experts presented calculations suggesting that Bitcoin could <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ark-invest-bitcoin-price-to-exceed-1-million-by-2030\">rise to $1.36 million<\/a> by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Economist and author of The Bitcoin Standard, Saifedean Ammous <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/author-of-the-bitcoin-standard-rejects-forecast-of-btc-approaching-1-million\">did not endorse the forecast<\/a> that Bitcoin would reach $1 million in the near term.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the next decade, the price of Bitcoin could reach $1 million amid the growth of the digital economy.
