This, according to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/digital-future-daily\/2023\/03\/30\/space-force-major-to-pentagon-mine-bitcoin-00089745\\\">The Politico<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In his book Softwar, he proposed using Bitcoin as a \u201cself-defence weapon\u201d in cyberspace.<\/p>\n<p>In Lowery&#8217;s view, the coin could function as a less destructive means of contest for power in the digital sector. He suggested the asset could be used as a cybersecurity tool, relying on the features of the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-proof-of-work-pow-algorithm\">Proof-of-Work<\/a> consensus algorithm.<\/p>\n<p>His idea involves developing defensive software that responds only to external signals accompanied by sufficiently large transactions in the Bitcoin network.<\/p>\n<p>The major also proposed extending the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution to the technology of the first cryptocurrency as a self-defence instrument.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to Lowery, he faces strong resistance from politicians in promoting his idea.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSoon, influential people in the government will try to claim that backing Bitcoin poses a threat to U.S. national security,\u201d the major wrote in a deleted tweet.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimok-ekrana-2023-04-04-v-11.04.16-1.webp\" alt=\"Snimok-ekrana-2023-04-04-v-11.04.16-1\" class=\"wp-image-203310\" width=\"754\" height=\"831\"\/><figcaption>Screenshot of the deleted Lowery tweet.
