In his view, if Bitcoin manages to break through the previous all-time high, it won&#8217;t take long to rise higher.<\/p>\n<p><span data-descr=\\\"Chief Technology Officer\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">CTO<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-tether-usdt\">Tether<\/a> Paolo Ardoino believes that Bitcoin may \u201cretest\u201d the $69,000 level.<\/p>\n<p>Oliver Linch, CEO of Bittrex Global, ties the asset&#8217;s rally to the US banking crisis sparked by the collapses of <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/silvergate-to-liquidate-silvergate-bank\">Silvergate Bank<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/us-rescue-saves-svb-and-signature-bank-depositors-stablecoins-narrow-the-depegging\">Signature Bank<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/venture-capital-investors-distance-themselves-from-silicon-valley-bank-amid-liquidity-concerns\">Silicon Valley Bank<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>CNBC journalists also recalled the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/expert-questions-the-odds-of-former-coinbase-ctos-bet-that-bitcoin-will-reach-1m\">bet<\/a> by ex-Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan and former Goldman Sachs top executive Raoul Pal on Bitcoin reaching $1 million. If the leading cryptocurrency does not reach the agreed price by June 17, Pal will win $1 million and return his stake of 1 BTC.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFor Bitcoin to reach a million in 90 days, some crazy things would have to happen in the world, things we do not want,\u201d said Marshall Bird.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Gemini&#8217;s chief strategy officer, the coin could take ten years to approach that figure.<\/p>\n<p>Ardoino is also skeptical of the claim. If Bitcoin were to reach such levels, it could spell \u201cthe collapse of the entire economy,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing the asset was trading at $28,356, up 1.5% on the day (according to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/bitcoin\\\">CoinGecko<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in March 2023, Messari founder and CEO Ryan Selkis <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/messari-ceo-forecasts-bitcoin-to-reach-100-000\">predicted<\/a> Bitcoin would rise to $100,000 within 12 months.
