If US capital concentrates in Europe, local companies will be able to attract funding at late stages,&#8221; said Viktor Fischer, CEO of RockawayX.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The fastest-growing categories were developer tools, scaling products, and layer-1 networks.<\/p>\n<p>The largest fundraising rounds were:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copper \u2014 $181m;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/seba-crypto-bank-raises-120-million\">SEBA Bank<\/a> \u2014 $120m;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/institutional-bulletin-gnosis-safe-raises-100-million-animoca-brands-valued-at-5-9-billion\">Safe<\/a> \u2014 $100m;<\/li>\n<li>Aztec \u2014 $100m;<\/li>\n<li>BSB Group \u2014 $60m;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/institutional-roundup-celestia-raises-55-million-stardust-30-million\">Celestia<\/a> \u2014 $55m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Early 2023, European investments fell sharply. In January, venture capital inflows declined by almost 91% compared with the same month a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Investors also started shying away from centralized projects, especially after <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-group-files-for-bankruptcy-sam-bankman-fried-resigns-as-ceo\">the collapse of FTX<\/a>.
