According to the developers, it will be the last before the mainnet activation of the upgrade.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">15 epochs later, Goerli has finalized.<\/p>\n<p>There was nothing wrong with the Client software. The hard fork includes changes to Ethereum&#8217;s consensus and execution layers. Its primary aim is to enable withdrawals of ETH from staking.<\/p>\n<p>During the Goerli upgrade, the team encountered problems \u2014 due to low network participation, the hard fork implementation took 15 <a href=\"https:\/\/info.etherscan.com\/epoch-in-ethereum\/\">\u044d\u043f\u043e\u0445<\/a>. According to developer Tim Beiko, this was due to users lacking incentives to become validators, because \u201cETH [in the testnet] is worthless\u201d.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Deposits are being processed (<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CxYtPcGMCp\">https:\/\/t.co\/CxYtPcGMCp<\/a>), but it seems like several validators haven\u2019t upgraded.
