The company noted that many firms backed by the media have collapsed.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abTether, on the other hand, consistently met its commitments to increase transparency, cooperate with regulators, and adjust its reserves\u00bb, the statement said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The company also mentioned the difficult period during the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/terras-death-spiral-how-and-why-luna-and-ust-collapsed\">collapse of the Terra ecosystem<\/a>. At that time USDT temporarily <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/usdt-stablecoin-deviates-from-its-peg-to-the-us-dollar\">lost parity with the dollar<\/a>, however the issuer did not experience any trouble meeting obligations and within a day redeemed assets <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/tether-shifts-the-bulk-of-usdt-collateral-into-us-treasuries\">worth $600 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, Tether currently has fewer than 1,000 active users and extremely stringent <span data-descr=\"Know Your Customer \/ anti-money laundering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC\/AML<\/span> procedures, which \u201cat minimum meet the standards of the Bank Secrecy Act\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The issuer also mentioned close cooperation with law enforcement.
