However, according to the publication&#8217;s sources, it could have reached $1.8 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The startup will use the proceeds to launch the mainnet and expand the ecosystem. According to Scroll co-founder Sandy Pan, in the near term the project will grow the team from 60 to 100 people.<\/p>\n<p>According to the previous funding round, the startup <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/polychain-capital-leads-30-million-investment-round-for-ethereum-startup-scroll\">raised $30 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Scroll network was created in 2021 with the aim of expanding Ethereum to one billion users.<\/p>\n<p>In late February, the project team launched its <span data-descr=\\\"Zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine, Ethereum\u2019s zero-disclosure virtual machine\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">zkEVM<\/span> on the Goerli testnet, exiting alpha testing.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">For nearly two years, we&#8217;ve built our zkEVM in the open alongside <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PrivacyScaling?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">@PrivacyScaling<\/a> and other contributors, and today, we&#8217;re taking the next step to Goerli, the final stage before mainnet.<\/p>\n<p>Our testnet on Goerli is 100% permissionless.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the details:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Scroll ?
