The Quest 2 price will be reduced by $70\u2014from $499.99 to $429.99.<\/p>\n<p>New prices for the lower-end model, as well as for the Quest Pro in the United States and Canada, took effect on March 5. The price of the flagship headset in the rest of the world will drop on March 15.<\/p>\n<p>The Meta Quest Pro was introduced in October 2022, but the device&#8217;s high cost made it inaccessible to most consumers. Data: Meta.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Presumably, the company hopes the lower price will make the device appealing to both audiences.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOur goal has always been to make hardware accessible to as many people as possible so that they can enjoy all the benefits of virtual reality,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In 2022 the company <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/reality-labs-metaverse-focused-loss-rose-to-4-3-billion\">lost<\/a> $13.7 billion in the Reality Labs segment.
