The rules will align with those applicable to high-risk investments.<\/p>\n<p>Financial promotions must be clear, fair, and not misleading.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A 24-hour cooling-off period will be provided for clients, allowing them to reconsider their decision.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abThis regime will apply to firms offering crypto assets to UK consumers, <\/em>\u2014<em> regardless of whether they are based abroad and the technologies they use to promote them\u00bb,<\/em> \u2014 according to a statement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In August 2022, the FCA<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/uk-regulator-excludes-cryptocurrencies-from-new-advertising-rules\"> approved<\/a> stricter rules to curb misleading advertising related to high-risk investment products.
