{"id":73057,"date":"2023-01-25T16:42:59","date_gmt":"2023-01-25T14:42:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=73057"},"modified":"2025-09-09T11:59:51","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T08:59:51","slug":"kazakhstan-closes-five-illegal-bitcoin-exchanges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/kazakhstan-closes-five-illegal-bitcoin-exchanges\/","title":{"rendered":"Kazakhstan closes five illegal Bitcoin exchanges."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities in Kazakhstan halted the operations of five unregistered cryptocurrency exchanges. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.kz\/memleket\/entities\/afm\/press\/news\/details\/493069?lang=ru\">\u0441\u043e\u043e\u0431\u0449\u0430\u0435\u0442<\/a> the local Financial Monitoring Agency.<\/p>\n<p>According to available information, the exchange points KZobmen.com, 1WM.KZ, Kazobmen.ru, WM007.KZ and KZ-EXCHANGE.COM operated outside the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) territory in defiance of the ban.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement conducted searches at six addresses and seized computer equipment, mobile phones, banking and accounting documents, and hardware wallets.<\/p>\n<p>Two accounts on the Binance exchange belonging to the suspects, with a total value of $6,000, have been blocked.
