Earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microsoft-to-invest-10-billion-in-openai-reports-say\">reported<\/a> that the value of the agreement had reached $10 billion.<\/p>\n<p>According to media reports, Microsoft will receive 75% of OpenAI&#8217;s profits until it recoups its investment. After that, the tech giant will own 49% of the startup&#8217;s equity.<\/p>\n<p>This is Microsoft&#8217;s third investment in OpenAI. In 2019, the software giant <a href=\"https:\/\/news.microsoft.com\/2019\/07\/22\/openai-forms-exclusive-computing-partnership-with-microsoft-to-build-new-azure-ai-supercomputing-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">\u0432\u044b\u0434\u0435\u043b\u0438\u043b<\/a> AI developers $1 billion. Two years later, the company conducted a second round of funding.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.microsoft.com\/blog\/2020\/09\/22\/microsoft-teams-up-with-openai-to-exclusively-license-gpt-3-language-model\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">\u043f\u043e\u043b\u0443\u0447\u0438\u043b\u0430<\/a> an exclusive license to include the GPT-3 language model in its own technologies and applications.
