It comprises 15 specialists from five CAR ministries.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;With access to cryptocurrencies, the monetary barriers that have existed thus far will disappear. The main aim of the measures taken by the government is to develop the national economy,&#8221; wrote Touad\u00e9ra.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In April 2022, the CAR <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/central-african-republic-becomes-the-worlds-second-country-to-legalize-bitcoin\">recognised the first cryptocurrency<\/a> as a payment instrument on a par with the local franc and became the second country in the world to legalise Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>In July authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/car-launches-bitcoin-backed-digital-currency-sango-coin\">launched<\/a> the national digital currency Sango Coin.
