FTX’s new head, John Ray, said he is examining the possibility of restarting the bankrupt exchange. As The Wall Street Journal<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

“All of this is being discussed,” the executive said in the interview.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to him, a specially formed working group is examining whether reviving FTX.com could create more value for users than liquidating the platform’s assets.<\/p>\n

FTT rose about 30%<\/a>. At one point the price exceeded $2.6, then stabilized around $2.3.<\/p>\n

In November 2022, the FTX Group filed for bankruptcy<\/a> under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The former chief executive Sam Bankman-Fried<\/a> was replaced by John Ray III.<\/p>\n

Earlier, ForkLog reported that FTX Group advisers restored access<\/a> to assets worth more than $5 billion. According to court filings, about 117 potential buyers are interested in acquiring FTX’s subsidiaries<\/a>.<\/p>\n
