Browder, however, intends to dispel hypothetical skepticism about the bot&#8217;s capabilities.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We have upcoming cases in municipal (traffic) court next month. According to the court&#8217;s website, bringing any electronic devices into the courtroom is prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>In Gizmodo&#8217;s piece, Browder said that accessibility rules permit circumventing this restriction. He also noted that the $1 million payout would be made only if the Supreme Court allows it.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8216;We would never do anything against the rules,&#8217; the entrepreneur said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Browder, he has not yet found a lawyer interested in partnering. However, the entrepreneur has received &#8220;very serious offers&#8221; from several specialists handling federal and appellate court matters.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abWe are doing this to send a strong signal to other courts to allow the use of artificial intelligence in their chambers\u00bb, Browder said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DoNotPay was founded in 2015 as a chatbot that helps with routine tasks such as cancelling subscriptions or challenging parking fines.
