According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2023-01-03\/bankman-fried-s-not-guilty-plea-sets-up-path-to-fraud-trial\">Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/new-judge-appointed-in-sam-bankman-fried-case\">Appointed<\/a> in late December, US District Judge Lewis Kaplan set the trial date \u2014 October 2, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution proposed an additional bail condition for SBF in the form of a ban on access to and transfers of FTX and Alameda Research assets.<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg noted that the refusal to plead guilty would allow Bankman-Fried to obtain more information about the evidence against him and plan his next move.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Reuters reported that SBF <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-reports-bankman-fried-prepared-to-plead-guilty-to-fraud\">will plead<\/a> guilty to charges of defrauding investors and misappropriating client funds. WSJ sources <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sam-bankman-fried-denies-involvement-in-transfers-from-alameda-research-wallets\">ruled out<\/a> such a possibility.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on December 13 Bankman-Fried <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bahamas-authorities-arrest-ftx-founder-sam-bankman-fried\">was arrested<\/a> in the Bahamas.
