The 1inch Network liquidity-aggregator team from decentralized exchanges activated a major Fusion update, ForkLog was told by project representatives.<\/p>\n
The developers integrated the 1inch Swap Engine \u2014 a combination of technologies designed to make swaps through the aggregator more profitable and secure.<\/p>\n
The system supports Fusion mode. The latter allows placing orders with a fixed price and time window without paying network fees. The overlay protects users from potential MEV<\/a>-attacks.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a huge step forward for the entire DeFi sector. Fusion makes swaps on 1inch significantly more profitable,\u201d said 1inch co-founder Sergey Kunts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The update also changed the governance model and the 1inch Network’s tokenomics. In particular, users can now stake assets for a period from one month to two years.<\/p>\n Staking participants can earn Unicorn Power tokens. The latter enable participation in the protocol’s governance mechanism or can be delegated in exchange for rewards.<\/p>\n The team unveiled an incentive program to reimburse users’ costs for executing orders in Fusion mode. Under the initiative, the 1inch Foundation will distribute 10 million 1INCH.<\/p>\n As reported in November 2022, the 1inch Network <\/a>introduced the fifth version of the liquidity-aggregator protocol with DEX<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
