This is reported by <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.kommersant.ru\/doc\/5735741\\\">\u00ab\u041a\u043e\u043c\u043c\u0435\u0440\u0441\u0430\u043d\u0442\u00bb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>From March 1, 2023, foreign messaging apps, the list of which will be maintained by Roskomnadzor, will be prohibited from connecting money-transfer services.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In addition, state-owned companies and banks will not be able to use messaging apps to transmit personal data, payment information, transfers and bank account details.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Telegram, which has been actively developing business payment functionality, could have any company create a bot in the messenger to accept payments. With the adoption of the bill this will be permitted only in Russian social networks \u2014 \u201cVKontakte\u201d and \u201cOdnoklassniki.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The bill has been forwarded to the Federation Council for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Artem Kozlyuk, head of RosKomSvoboda, in a ForkLog comment called the document an attempt by the authorities to control financial transactions.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;Outside Russian messengers and services, this is problematic for them, so they want simply to ban such a possibility.
