This was stated in the project&#8217;s Telegram channel.<\/p>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?21\" data-telegram-post=\"sangoproject\/39\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\u201cDue to current market conditions, and taking into account other marketing reasons (such as the holiday season and the traditional slowdown of any sales worldwide in January and February), we are postponing the listing of SANGO,\u201d the channel moderators said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>They added that they could not provide further details until an official statement from the project team. It is not known on which platforms the listing was planned.<\/p>\n<p>On July 3, President Faustin-Archange Touad\u00e9ra <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/car-launches-bitcoin-backed-digital-currency-sango-coin\">presented<\/a> the national digital currency. The country planned to use Sango Coin to create a cryptocurrency economy based on private investment.<\/p>\n<p>Public sales of the coin, released on a Bitcoin sidechain, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/central-african-republic-begins-token-sale-of-national-cryptocurrency\">began<\/a> in the same month. For purchase, 210 million SANGO were available at a price of $0.10.
